In this video it talks about how Microsoft is putting computers on to tabletops in bars and restaurants. The idea behind it is that it mouse free, and easy to use. There is a camera underneath of the table that reflects what is happening on the phone, and brings it to the table top. People can upload their photos right to the tabletop computer without having to use a chord. Also, at restaurants people can pay the bill by adjusting the tip, and paying for their bill right at the table. They are hoping to have the table top computers out in restaurants and other places in November.
I like the idea that customers pay the bill right on the table in restaurants. It saves time for the server and the customer. This is very interesting and a great idea for busy people. What also is amazing is that people can do puzzles while the puzzles are in motion. Keep up the great work, Jess, and this was an excellent video!
ReplyDeleteI think that is a really good idea. It is a more convenient way to pay the bill. It would be a good way to entertain people while they wait for their food.
